Favorite Runners
Favorite Runners allows Clients to build a list of trusted runners they prefer to work with. You can assign errands directly to your favorite runners, bypassing the open bidding process for faster service and better reliability.
What Are Favorite Runners?
- Favorite Runners are runners you have marked as preferred partners for completing your errands.
- You can build a list of favorite runners based on past positive experiences, ratings, or recommendations.
- Having favorite runners allows you to assign errands directly to them, saving time and ensuring quality service.
How to Add a Runner to Favorites
- After a runner completes an errand for you, you can add them to your favorites list.
- Go to your Errands page and open a completed errand.
- In the errand details, find the runner's information section.
- Click the "Add to Favorites" button (heart icon) next to the runner's name.
- The runner will be added to your favorites list immediately.
- You can also add runners from their profile page if you've worked with them before.
Managing Your Favorites List
- Navigate to your Client Dashboard and go to the "Favorites" section.
- View all your favorite runners in a list or card view.
- See each runner's profile, ratings, verification status, and past errands with you.
- Remove runners from your favorites list by clicking the "Remove from Favorites" button.
- You can add or remove favorites at any time.
Assigning Errands to Favorite Runners
- When creating a new errand, you'll see an option to "Assign to Favorite Runner".
- Select a favorite runner from the dropdown list (if you have favorites).
- Set a response timeout (1-72 hours, default 24 hours) for the runner to accept or decline.
- If you assign to a favorite, the errand status becomes "Assigned" and only that runner can see and accept it.
- If the assigned runner doesn't respond within the timeout period, the errand automatically becomes available for open bidding.
- If you don't assign to a favorite, leave it as "Open to Bidding" for any verified runner to bid.

- Add runners who specialize in the types of errands you frequently post.
- Review your favorites list periodically and remove inactive or underperforming runners.
Important Notes
- Favorite runners must still be verified and active on the platform.
- Assigned errands still require the runner to accept before work begins.
- If an assigned favorite runner declines or doesn't respond, the errand opens for general bidding.
- You can always choose to post errands as "Open to Bidding" even if you have favorites.
- Favorite status is one-way: Clients add runners, but runners cannot add clients to favorites.
