Wallet & Bank Account Management

Your YiAiki wallet is where funds are stored for errands and where earnings are received. You can fund your wallet, add bank accounts for withdrawals, and manage your financial settings. Understanding how your wallet works is essential for smooth transactions.
Funding Your Wallet (Clients)
- Navigate to your Client Dashboard and locate the Wallet section.
- Click the "Fund" button to open the funding modal.
- Enter the amount you want to add (minimum ₦100).
- Click "Fund Now" to be redirected to the payment gateway (Paystack).
- Complete the payment using your preferred method (card, bank transfer, etc.).
- After successful payment, funds are automatically added to your wallet balance.
- Note: If you have unpaid fines, they will be automatically deducted from your top-up amount before the remainder is added to your wallet.
Understanding Your Wallet Balance
- Available Balance: The amount you can use for errands or withdraw (for clients: walletBalance - walletLocked).
- Locked Balance: Funds currently held in escrow for active errands (cannot be used or withdrawn until errand is completed or cancelled).
- Total Balance: Your complete wallet balance (available + locked).
- For Runners: Your wallet balance shows your earnings from completed errands (some may be locked if you have unpaid fines or compensation obligations).
Adding a Bank Account
- Go to your dashboard and navigate to "Bank Accounts" (available for both Clients and Runners).
- Click "Add Bank Account" and fill in the required details:
- • Select your bank from the dropdown list.
- • Enter your account number (10 digits).
- • The account name will be automatically verified via Paystack.
- Your bank account will be verified instantly if the details match.
- The first bank account you add becomes your primary account by default.
- You can add multiple bank accounts and set any one as primary.
Managing Bank Accounts
- Set Primary Account: Click "Set as Primary" on any verified account to make it your default withdrawal account.
- Delete Account: You can remove bank accounts that are no longer needed (you must have at least one verified account for withdrawals).
- Verification Status: Only verified bank accounts can be used for withdrawals.
- Account Security: Your account numbers are encrypted and stored securely.
Withdrawing Funds (Runners)
- Navigate to your Runner Dashboard and locate the Wallet section.
- Click the "Withdraw" button (minimum withdrawal amount is ₦1,000).
- Enter the amount you want to withdraw (must not exceed your available balance).
- Select the bank account you want to receive the funds (or use your primary account).
- Submit your withdrawal request.
- Important: Withdrawal requests are unavailable on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Admin processes payouts during weekends.
- Your request will be reviewed and processed by admin (usually within 1-3 business days).
- You can only have one pending withdrawal request at a time.
Withdrawing Funds (Clients)
- Clients can withdraw refunds or unused funds from their wallet.
- Navigate to your Client Dashboard and locate the Wallet section.
- Click the "Withdraw" button (minimum withdrawal amount is ₦1,000).
- Enter the amount you want to withdraw (must not exceed your available balance, excluding locked escrow funds).
- Select your bank account and submit the request.
- Withdrawal requests are unavailable on weekends.
- Your request will be reviewed and processed by admin.
Withdrawal Eligibility
- You must have a verified bank account added to your profile.
- Your available balance must be at least ₦1,000.
- You cannot have any pending withdrawal requests.
- For runners: Some earnings may be locked if you have unpaid fines or compensation obligations.
- Withdrawals are processed on weekdays only (Monday-Friday).
Important Notes
- All transactions are secure and processed through verified payment gateways.
- Wallet funds are held securely and can only be accessed by you.
- Escrow funds remain locked until errands are completed, cancelled, or resolved through disputes.
- Keep your bank account information up to date to ensure smooth withdrawals.
- Contact support if you experience any issues with funding or withdrawals.
