Safety Guidelines

At YiAiki, everyone's safety is taken very seriously. Keep all errand-related communication in YiAiki chat so there is a record. We recommend the following:
For Clients
- Check Runner profiles, verification status, and reviews before accepting a bid or assigning a task. Prefer verified runners when possible.
- Use YiAiki in-app messaging for all errand-related communication. Do not move to external apps or phone until you are comfortable.
- Use public, well-lit locations for handoffs (e.g. pickups, deliveries) when meeting in person.
- Do not hand over cash or valuables unless necessary and clearly agreed in the chat. Prefer payment through the platform (escrow).
- If you assign to a favorite runner, you have already built some trust; still keep communication on the platform.
For Runners
- Confirm the identity of the Client (e.g. name, errand details) before proceeding with pickups or deliveries.
- Use YiAiki in-app messaging for all errand-related communication so everything is on record.
- Avoid risky areas or times unless you are prepared and have informed someone you trust.
- Do not carry large sums of cash unless required and pre-agreed in the chat.
- Tell a friend or family member which task you are doing and where you are going, especially for deliveries or home services.
Both Parties
- Trust your instincts: If something feels unsafe or wrong, cancel the task through the app and contact Support if needed.
- Report violations: Inappropriate behavior, harassment, or fraud can lead to warnings, fines, or account suspension. Use the Support page to open a ticket or, for an active errand, a dispute where appropriate.
- Keep evidence in the app: Screenshots and chat history in YiAiki can be used if you need to raise a dispute or report an issue.
