Getting Started
Welcome to YiAiki, your reliable platform for posting and completing errands quickly and safely. Whether you're a Client (someone who needs errands done) or a Runner (someone who completes errands), getting started is simple:
For Clients:
- Click on the "Sign Up" button on the homepage.
- Choose the "Client" account type.
- Fill in your name, email, password, phone, and other details.
- Verify your email using the 6-digit code sent to your email.
- Optionally complete ID verification during signup, or skip and do it later from your dashboard.
- To post errands, you must complete ID verification and receive admin approval.
For Runners:
- Click on the "Sign Up" button on the homepage.
- Choose the "Runner" account type.
- Fill in your name, email, password, phone, and other details.
- Verify your email using the 6-digit code sent to your email.
- Go to your dashboard, then navigate to your profile.
- Click on "Verify Account" to submit school verification.
- Select your school type (University, Polytechnic, or College), choose your school, and upload an image of your school ID.
- Submit for verification by the admin.
- Optionally complete school verification during signup, or skip and do it later from your dashboard.
Important:
- Email verification is required to activate your account and log in.
- ID verification (for Clients) and school verification (for Runners) can be completed during signup or later from your dashboard.
- Clients must have approved ID verification before they can post errands.
- Runners must have approved school verification before they can place bids on errands.
- Runners can browse and view available errands, but cannot bid until verification is approved.
Next Steps:
- After email verification, you will be automatically logged in.
- Clients: Complete ID verification from your dashboard to unlock errand posting.
- Runners: Complete school verification from your dashboard to unlock bidding on errands.
- Check your verification status in your profile section.
