Posting an Errand

Posting errands on YiAiki is designed to be intuitive but powerful enough to capture all important details. The clearer and more specific your description, the faster you'll get the right Runner. Here's how to post successfully:
Prerequisites:
- You must be logged in to your Client account.
- Your ID verification must be approved (required to create errands).
- You should have no unpaid fines (fines block errand creation).
Steps to Post:
- Navigate to your Client Dashboard.
- Click on one of the errand category cards (Package Delivery, Market Shopping, Pet Care, Home Services, Baby Sitting, Queue Services, or Custom).
- The errand type is automatically selected based on the category you clicked.
- Fill in the required details:
- • Description: Provide clear and specific details about what you need done.
- • Budget Amount: Enter the amount you are willing to pay for the errand.
- • Deadline: Select the date and time by when the errand must be completed.
- • Location: Select your State, City, and enter your Neighborhood (these may be pre-filled from your profile).
- Optionally assign to a Favorite Runner:
- • If you have favorite runners, you can select one from the dropdown.
- • If assigning to a favorite, set a response timeout (1-72 hours, default 24 hours).
- • If you don't assign to a favorite, leave it as "Open to Bidding" for any runner to bid.
- Review all details and click "Post" to create your errand.
After Posting:
- Your errand is listed on the platform immediately with a Pending status.
- If assigned to a favorite runner: The errand status becomes Assigned, and the runner has the specified timeout period to accept or decline. If they don't respond in time, the errand becomes available for open bidding.
- If open to bidding: Verified runners can view and submit bids with their proposed amount and a short pitch.
- You will receive notifications when runners submit bids or when your assigned favorite runner responds.
- Review bids in your errands dashboard and accept the one that best fits your needs.
Tips for Better Results:
- Be specific in your description - include quantities, sizes, locations, and any special requirements.
- Set a realistic budget that reflects the complexity and time required for the errand.
- Choose an appropriate deadline that gives runners enough time to complete the task.
- Complete your profile location details to speed up the posting process.
- Build a list of favorite runners for recurring errands to get faster service.
